Narrative Information: The first PCS C Detachment C5/400 took over Camp Nguyen Khac Tri at Can Tho from Detachment B1/130, 1st SFGA o/a November ??, 1964. From about February, 1968, the Detachment was under the OPCON on the 44th Special Tactical Zone at Cao Lanh and maintained a Forward Operations Center there. The Detachment was closed o/a December 16, 1970. Can Tho was located in Phong Dinh District, Phong Dinh Province. Medical, Signal, Intelligence and Engineering augmentations are presently listed with the parent element at the SFOB.
